You’ll be so happy to book in to this lovely and peaceful spot! The Suite and Cottage are both well decorated to create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The space is clean and open and creates a sense of calm. Joshua and Trevor have added so many thoughtful touches like leaving you a beach bag and beach towels. A wonderful respite
Joshua and Trevor provided so many thoughtful touches such as towels for the beach and cold refreshments in the fridge when we arrived. The setting is idyllic with a nearby pond, set in the middle of farmland. The deck was a wonderful place to hang out and see the beautiful sunset and the stars. I can’t wait to return some day!

All the modern amenities while preserving the Island charm!
Joshua and Trevor were outstanding hosts, starting in advance of our stay they were very responsive and friendly. The house manual had a wide range of local recommendations (the most thorough we have ever seen at an Airbnb!). The cottage was spotlessly clean, decked out with everything you need and more, centrally located for ease of access to the rest of the island. The property itself was beautiful, including the gorgeous front garden full of flowers and pollinators. This is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway or as a home base to explore the wonders of PEI. The hosts have done a great job incorporating all the modern amenities while preserving the island charm. Would definitely stay at any of their listings in the future!

Joshua and Trevor were wonderful hosts
They were incredibly courteous, making us aware of some concerts on the island that could impact our sightseeing. Both responded to our questions in a timely manner and with thoughtfulness. The Hideout was incredibly clean and comfortable. We had all we needed to make breakfasts and eat supper in, if desired. The place was located in a very quiet and calm area - a wonderful respite from our travels around the island, yet we could get places easily. We would highly recommend staying with Joshua and Trevor!

Can’t say enough good things about the Tryon Suite!
We felt like we were at a private estate retreat: welcome snacks, lovely soaps, gorgeous garden, tastefully decorated suite, friendly and helpful hosts. If there were such a word for better than perfect, it would apply to our stay here.

Just GREAT!
The photos made this cottage look wonderful, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. We had our own private deck with comfortable furniture and a beautiful view. The gardens surrounding the cottage were a delight; the collection of different varieties of daylilies were in bloom and a visual treat as were the native wildflowers. Joshua had told us about the pond next door with its floating bridge, and that provided a fun walk. And I'm so glad he told us about "Victoria By the Sea": We had a wonderful brunch outdoors on the deck of Casa Mia and the best lobster rolls of our trip at Richard's -- one order was enough for both of us. And of course there was "Island Chocolates", where my purchases provided chocolate treats for the rest of our trip. Joshua and Trevor decorated the interior of the Hideaway so that we were constantly noticing new and interesting things -- the art, the books, the records, the coffee mugs, the flowers, the cushions, all tastefully done. Just GREAT!

Super cozy and convenient
I spent 2 great days in the Tryon Suite and everything I needed was right there. The place is very quiet and invites you to connect with nature every minute: from the birds singing in the morning to the fresh air of the neighbouring fields and trails to the beautiful palette of the sun setting over the property. Trevor &Joshua were very friendly and gave precise instructions and recommendations on what to do and where to go. Can’t wait for my next Hideout retreat!

Sparkling clean
It was a pleasure to stay at Joshua and Trevor's place. They're very kind and accommodating, always ready to answer questions and quick in responding. The place is sparkling clean and spacious, having all the things we need. They think of every little detail and added nice little touches such as providing snacks and drinks. Their space is quiet and nice for relaxing. Overall, greatly recommended! Thank you Joshua and Trevor for a very pleasant stay!

A great base from which to explore the Island
This was a great base from which to explore all the island has to offer. The Tryon Suite was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and inviting after a long day traversing the island. Trevor was warm and extremely accommodating and responsive to any question or concern we had. This is a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay.

Above and beyond hospitality
We absolutely loved our stay at the Tyron Suite. Joshua offered above and beyond hospitality. The price was very reasonable for the quality, style, and cleanliness of the accommodations. We were very happy and would have loved to spend more time there. Joshua's personal touches and welcome gifts were so much appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay in a beautiful area of PEI.

Peaceful, serene, and close to beaches
The Hideout is beautiful and the hosts are friendly and welcoming with just the right amount of “give you your own space.” They are a wealth of knowledge about the area and their recommendations are interesting and helpful. The area is peaceful, serene and close to beaches (though not right on a beach, the closest one is about 7km away). It is off the beaten-path but everything you could want from a trip to PEI is easily accessible. I LOVE the hideout and I highly recommend staying here!
